How it works

Sign in and add any PDF. askPDF reads the text so you can ask about it.
Ask in plain words
Type a question the way you would ask a colleague. Answers draw on the most relevant passages of the PDF, not the whole document at once, so ask about one topic at a time.
Check the page
Every answer carries a page chip, such as p. 12. Click it and the PDF jumps to that page, so you can read the source yourself.

- What kinds of PDFs work?
- PDFs that contain text, such as reports, papers, manuals and contracts. A scan that is only an image has no text to read.
